I wish someone could tell me the future. Wouldn't that be handy to know, right about now? Perhaps StarClan could tell me, but I've learned long ago that StarClan doesn't always have an answer. Even if StarClan did have an answer right now, that doesn't mean they would tell me. Willownight bustled around the den thinking all the while. "Let's see, that tansy goes over here. That poppy seed over there..." Besides the occasional comment to herself Willownight was silent, deep in thought. I hope that Icestar doesn't come seeking advice from me right this second. I'm still deciding myself! I know that it isn't right to question what a leader says. What a leader says, after all, is law according to the Warrior Code. But with Leaf-bare coming so soon, is now the right time to be giving away territory? Even if it is a small section? MarshClan is starving though! Urgh. Like Icestar said, if FrostClan was starving I would like someone to help me.
Willownight was tearing herself two ways. She cared for the whole clan, like she would a litter of kits because she saw them as her kits in a way, but her duty as a medicine cat was to also put clan differences aside and help other clans if needed. "I have to go find more herbs before Leaf-bare kills all of them..." Willownight mumbled, after finishing sorting the herbs that her apprentice had brought in. Then she sighed, which blew over a small stack of herbs. Willownight groaned at her apprentice like mistake and started to re-stack the herbs before taking inventory of the herbs she already had, making a mental note of what to look for. It's just the matter of is it right, or is it not.
