OOC name: Skye character's name: Thunderleap rank: Leader age: 32 Moons gender: Tom personality: Quiet, Friendly, Protective why your cat is good for this role: He has a strong desire to one day lead his Clan. He loves the idea of being able to wake up every morning to protect his home and every cat within it, through the good or bad. He's a very good leader, and he has a great tactical mind, as well as the sense to keep the peace when needed. He's a rather peaceful cat, and would sooner keep his Clan at peace than throw them into a full out war. RP Example: It was moonhigh, and the moon was no longer visible. The night was pitch black, and it closed in on the camp like a terrifying omen of a coming storm. Distant thunder rumbled in the distance, and tiny raindrops began to fall to the earth, soaking the unseasonably warm air, and making the snow on the ground melt on contact. It'd all turn to ice by dawn. The SunClan camp was quiet, other than the call of the falling rain outside of the dens.
In a large den, a young tom cat was curled up in his nest, just settling down to sleep. He rested his head on his paws, and closed his eyes. It was almost instantaneous. He opened his eyes, sitting in the middle of a sunny field. Alarm ran down his spine, as a couple of starry warriors padded forward through the long grasses of these unknown plains. Thunderstar tilted his head, seeming calm after the sudden bewilderment that had covered his features before.
"What words does StarClan have to share with me?" Thunderstar spoke as formally as he could, looking back and forth to the two warriors.
One was a jet black tom, with vivid green eyes. He was muscular, and looked pretty fierce. The second was a smaller she-cat, pure white in color, and with light-blue, almost white eyes. The contrast that showed between the two was immense. The tom looked tough and hardened, and the she-cat looked gentle and soft.
"This new turn of events will not be without death. Many a warrior will not survive, including a single healer...death is near to your clanmates...beware..." both cats spoke at once, their voices swirling into a single otherworldly noise.
Thunderstar backed up a bit, and then suddenly stepped forward. "What do you mean!?" he yowled, but the starry warriors had disappeared, and he was instantly slammed back down into his nest. He opened his eyes and gave a gasp, searching for breath. It felt like his lungs had been ripped from him, and he couldn't seem to catch a hold on them any longer. He became dizzy, and suddenly, his breath returned. He gave a low cough, standing and shaking scraps of moss off of his short pelt. His heart raced, and his blue eyes darted around the lightening den.
He stepped out into the camp, and glanced around, looking for the familiar shape of his leader. He needed to speak to him, before it was too late. He darted out of the den, slipping on the now hardened ice that covered the clearing like a sheet. He regained his balance, and darted towards Sparkpool's den. At the entrance, he began to speak, his voice shaking with the fear of his dream...
"Sparkpool, I need to speak with you..."

OOC name: Snowberry character's name: Snowstar rank: Leader age: 29 moons gender: Tom personality:Snowstar is a calm Tom who always thinks before doing so. He enjoys life and would never let anyone down. Snowstar takes deep care for his clan, he would never take it to war without a good reason or anyway to get out. He treats others the same as himself and expects them to do so with him, though he knows that they should have a little respect for him. Snowstar is keen on teaching others, and often spends his time helping out with the apprentices.
why your cat is good for this role: Calm, thought-full, never lets himself get down, Snowstar brightens up everyone when he's around. Making them calm or happy, Snowstar can do it with just a smile making the clan calm and at ease with everything. Something every good deputy needs in a moment of problems. Snowstar watches out for others and makes sure everyone is safe in the clan. He works hard at what he does and never snaps at any warrior or outsider unless he has too. Snowstar doesn't judge without a good will too and treats ever the same apart from his leader, medicine cats and other clans leaders/deputies. He listens to what others say and follows the warrior code with his life and isn't scared to do what's right for his clan.
RP Example: Snowstar sniffed the forest air with his deep, pink nose trying to scent any prey or un-known cats in the territory. Leaves stuck to his paws and the trees around him seemed taller than before. Smelling the forest air wasn't all he could smell, he could pick up mouse, birds, a group of hunters including his brother Tigerstripe, the list went on.
Sighing, Snowstar began stalking the mouse he scented. Lying low so that his White, furred chest was on the ground he moved forth. He could just see the little grey mouse nibbling on a small nut with it's dark eyes on watch out. Snowberry did one, swift pounce and landed on the mouse, killing it with one blow. Pulling away he meowed, "Thank you StarClan for this prey you have blessed us with. May it's spirit go to where ever it must." Then picking it up he began heading back to the camp. It wasn't much prey but it was enough for an Elder or a queen to eat, they had to be grateful for every little piece of prey they are given.
Entering the camp, Snowstar was greeted by the sweet meows of kits in the nursery, some who have just opened their eyes, others playing. Snowstar smiled as the apprentices complained about clearing out the Elder's den, apprentices always complained. Placing the mouse on top of the Fresh-kill pile Snowstar went to see his mother.
He entered the nursery which was dark and cozy. His mother had been expecting kits for a moon now and she was getting plumper. Snowstar spotted his mother with his Amber eyes. She seemed to be dozing away. Turning to another Queen he began fussing over them, making sure they were well-fed and warm...
Thanks for reading xD

OOC name:
Amber
character's name:
Ivypaw
rank:
Medicine Cat
age:
Nine Moons
gender:
She-cat
personality:
Ivypaw is a very sweet and nurturing cat with plenty of patience. Despite all the loss in her life, she has dealt with it quite well. She may be a bit quiet, but is very social around her sisters. She is a bit overwhelmed with her mentor dying not too long ago and leaving her in charge, but so far she has handled it better than expected.
why your cat is good for this role:
Ivypaw is excellent for this role because she has been around plenty of grief, so she knows how to console others who experience death, or go through a family member dying. It also helps that her little sister, Hollykit, has several issues, and Ivypaw has helped her in her sickness. She also has Hollykit's help with other cats, when Hollykit is feeling well enough to help her out. But really, Ivypaw has the patience and the kindness to handle this role.
RP Example:
-This takes place before her mentor died, it's really just a moment between her and her sister, Hollykit-
A smile streched across Ivypaw's face as she watched Hollykit sniff the mouse in frong of her curiously. The medicine cat apprentice had decided to bring the little kit out of the nursery for a moment so she could at least have the opportunity to explore, even if she didn't care too much for it.
The orange apprentice soon became entranced in a memory of Hollykit and herself earlier in the day, just after her other sister, Cloverpaw, had gone out training.
"Hollykit don't touch that, I just organized it!" Ivypaw mewed dragging the red kit out of the pile of herbs that she had just sorted. She was glad to see Hollykit more active lately, but she had been trying to get this done so she could play with the little kit. Obviously Hollykit had other plans. The kit had only looked in her direction and purred. Teaching the kit what was wrong and right was hard. Especially when the kit didn't speak and didn't see. Ivypaw knew all of this was just a game for the kit, and figured Hollykit could open her eyes and speak, she just took after their older sister and was a bit stubborn.
This soon led the apprentice to grabbing the kit by the scruff and taking her out of the medicine cat's den and into the clearing. Ivypaw had grabbed a mouse, hoping the kit would eat at least some of it.
Ivypaw could not help but laugh as she saw Hollykit jump back as she pawed at the mouse's tail, not realizing what it was. The apprentice figured this wasn't hurting anything, and even if Hollykit was playing with her food, it was just some silly kit thing. Besides, Hollykit only a kit and Ivypaw knew she got bored easily. Maybe if she had some sort of interaction other than herself or Cloverpaw, Hollykit wouldn't have turned out so...fragile.

OOC name: Elise character's name: Ghostheart rank: Deputy age: 38 moons gender: Male personality: He's loyal to his clan and very much a warrior at heart. He's easy going, but can sometimes seem a bit stand offish. When you threaten something he loves dearly, he will fight until his last breath. Never give up and never give in are words that commonly fall from his lips. why your cat is good for this role: He's a warrior by nature, he protects all he loves, clan included. His loyalty makes him good to keep around, but he will ask questions when he's not sure of something. He's straight forward and will never let someone try and attempt on his leader's life. RP Example: Ghostheart I'll make a sacrifice and see the world. I'll see the world with eyes unclouded by hate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------- I could feel the soft crunch of sand under my paws, hear the waves lap against the shore. A slow sigh breathed from my lips and pale, ocean hued eyes shut for a moment, taking in all the sounds I could hear. My body shifted taking me toward the sound of lapping water. Hard pads slapped against a foaming, ice cold surface. My head lifted upward as my limbs began to be drenched in water. The underside of my belly brushed the surface of the water and I allowed my muzzle to shift downward and touch the pool of blue and gray. It was cold as ice and tasted of thirst bringing material. I tossed my head back up, sending an arch of water before myself, it landed acrossed my back and I arched for a moment, not sure how I felt about it. It was nice and cool here, but I wanted out of the fowl tasting stuff. Long limbs took me on a dance from the water's depth and I raced over the sands, kicking it up along with the sea water that barely reached up to brush against the bottom of one of my padded feet. I was supposed to be hunting, but I couldn’t help myself. This was much too fun. I knew I would still bring enough food home. I always did.
It was a kindly feeling that I felt being here at the ocean's crest, were water met land and it became a sort of harmony. My head bobbed up and down as I picked up my pace. Just because I was deputy, didn’t mean I couldn’t have some fun every now and again. Being all serious could make one’s life very dull and boring. Paws danced over the sand, sending it flying and playing around me. I drew in a deep breath when front paws came up and I turned away from a dark looming object. I felt it brush against my side as I trotted by it. Now that was not a nice feeling. I skittered away from it turning back to the way I had come. Long, feline limbs and tangled gray coat moved as if there was nothing to stop me from running forever. I could have run for my whole life, but I was a big feline and big cats had to stop every now and again too. I tripped and faulted a bit as I moved forward trying to ignore the fact that I was slacking off, but only a little bit. Dwelling on those things was not something one should do often or they might go insane.
Nostrils flared, taking in the sea breeze and tasting the salt in the air as I moved as any cat of speed would. Muscles twitched and pulled as I moved forward, tossing my head this way and that as I listened to the crash of waves around me. I loved that feeling. It was like a freedom I didn't truly have. A freedom to do as I wished and play in the waves as I wished . If I was not careful and did not stay close to shore, I could walk over the drop off and be lost to the ocean currents. That was not what I wished and for the most part I would stay upon land and hope for the best. I would live as any creature would. I would live as though nothing was wrong with me; like I didn’t have responsiblies that ate at my mind and caused me to feel as though I was straining to do something good, something great. I would do something amazing with my life. There was no way I wouldn’t. Whether it was to be a great leader or deputy that was alright. A deep breath was taken in and released on a slow sigh. I came to a stop and felt myself sink into the sand as my weight settled and those soft grains incased my paws. I backed up a step, moving away from the water and bowing my head. I closed my eyes and seemed to fall into a trance of sound and it absorbed me like nothing ever had. I would know if someone came toward me at this moment and only this moment. Each breath was even as I fell into this daily meditation of mine. I’d stood like that for several moments, then pulled myself out of my mind and moved on with the hunt that lay ahead of me. I moved back into the woods, listening for animals as silent paws touch the ground and took me deeper and deeper. I found mice, voles and rabbits. I killed what I knew I could carry back with me and did so. I padded into camp, dropping my kill off before going to talk to my leader, as I did every day. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
