Shadowear led his patrol out of the camp, heading towards the East River. He had tried top plan out the patrol so time would be at a maximum and they could catch the most prey. He looked behind him, making sure Minnowheart and her apprentice Steelpaw were following. Also, he had to see if Berrycloud was coming along. He turned back forward as the smell of the East River filled his nose.
Shadowear sighed. He wasn't one to like to lead a patrol. He was more of an outsider, one who was in the patrol, no to lead one. He was a good leader, but he didn't like it as much as he wanted to. He stared down into the water and looked at the other cats. "Let's get this started. Earlier we start, most prey we get." He said, watching a small trout swim around in the water. He crouched down, his hindquarters up in the air. The trout had no idea he was there. He stared for a few moments before plunging his head and paws in, wrestling with the fish and bringing it onto the bank. He held the small fish in his jaws and looked at the other cats with a smirk.
"Well, get huntin'. Oh, and, Minnowheart. Make sure to teach Steelpaw everythin' you know." He said, muffled through the fish carcass. He chuckled and walked away, towards the river.
ooc: crappy. I know. I'm really sorry, just wanted to get a patrol thread out there. Two hundred something words. :3

Steelpaw pounced out of the apprentice den. He had been having a nap before the patrol. The days seem to be getting more lazy but Steelpaw didn't really mind. Though the tom did like a good hunt every once in awhile. He stretched himself out and yawned then padded toward the entrance where he met with the patrol. Minnowheart, Shadowear - who was leading, and Berrycloud. He followed in the middle, excited to get the patrol started. He trotted happily along and stepped in time with Shadowear, trying to match his pace the best he could.
Steelpaw stopped beside the black tom and listened to him speak. "Let's get this started. Earlier we start, most prey we get." The grey and white muscular tom watched Shadowear catch a fish. His eyes widened and the tom copied Shadowear, crouching next to the water. A small fish swan by and Steelpaw slapped his paw in the water, knocking the fish out of the water. But the fish flopped back in, swimming away from the slow Steelpaw. "Mousedung!" He cursed under his breath as he watched the first swim away. He was too slow but next time he would get one. Then he would bring it back to his sister and show he what a great hunter he was.
comments; Sorry it's kind of crappy. ):

Irisbreeze I’ll fight you, and I’ll win
Irisbreeze knew she had hit the border a long time ago. Logic had warned her to hang by it and wait for a patrol but who knew how long that would take? The slim female was exhausted and hungry. It was so cold. Her short hair had refused to grow in during her travels and so she was left pretty unprotected. Shaking her pelt, the young tabby trudged through the long grass. In this winter wonderland, she felt oddly exposed. A whole new territory, new clans and only one cat to stand against it. Silence stretched on. Irisbreeze had grown accustomed to such conditions, cold and silent, but it didn’t change how uneasy it made her feel. Everything from the day before was covered in the scent of unfamiliar cats, which meant no prey could really be detected- not that the lost clan cat would even consider hunting on another can’s land. That would be disrespect in one of the worst kinds. The cold ground brushed against her empty stomach, forcing the crouched she-cat to flinch. Her breath plumed like smoke into the air. Everything was so unmoving. It wasn’t really a change lately, but after a year of clan upbringing, the ex-deputy couldn’t understand it. The sound of a river and the familiar mew of a cat stopped Iris dead in her tracks. What to do now? Trespassing was not a good mark on anyone’s record.
What happened to the fearless Iceclan cat?
She scolded herself as she rose to her full height and trotted towards the hunting cats. Her wiry muscles moved under her dull and ruffled pelt. She stopped a little ways away from them, her head raised and her back straight. Irisbreeze’s ears swivelled gently both ways.
“Hello?"
