It had been exactly one year since the accident with her mother, closer to one year and two months now, she felt so bad, that flood, it was so large, so fast, her mother had been killed before anyone could do anything. But Lilypool had found her self in a new clan, a new life, someplace where she was safe. The she-cat slowly walked to the lake, there she would relax from a long day. Lilypool sighed, she wondered what has happened to her brother, did he find his way to the clan, she hopped so, he said he would be back soon.. Lilypool had been so scared to face her mother, that's why she cried, that's why she was here, she had to calm down. But her new life was here now and she was safe, happy and a warrior. There was almost nothing missing from her life. Well maybe a family. Lilypool was by the waterfall now, her eyes closed, her chest rising and falling slowly. She had to stop thinking of her past, she had to erase this, now. This is what she had to do, for her own good. For the good of her clan.

Lightningstar walked along the borders of her clan. It has been eleven moons since she became leader of Marshclan. Within those months, she found a mate, Blizzardstorm. He was very kind and sweet towards her and she loved everything about him. Deciding to walk over to the Great Lake, she turned left and headed towards it. She glanced up at the sky, looking at the towering trees in her clan. WHen she reached the lake, she sees Lilypool sitting near it. Licking her fur down gently, she walked over to the cat. "Hello Lilypool. How are you this morning?" She asked the other she-cat. She remembers whens this cat joined her clana nd was grateful. Her clan needed more cats in it and was glad to have two join her clan so far. Sitting down next to Lilypool, she looked at the lake, admiring the glistening water from the sun shining down from it. She always loved looking at the Lake. Something about it seemed calming to her. The gentle waves on the lake from the wind making it look mystical. She closed her eyes as she felt the wind gently touched her face, her fur and whiskers swaying in the calming wind. |

Lilypool can remember everything from that day, it was all in her mind, playing back to her like a movie, a horror movie.
The water came faster then they though it would, Elders and kits where drowned, taken away by the fast waters.Her mother and father made a huge mistake, or maybe they where making a huge leap of faith, they where trying to save their apprentices. Who where stuck on a branch, they where still to young to swim. Silverstripe swam to them, and got her apprentice safe to the land, but in the last second she got swept away by a large rock. dead in a instant. Lilypaw and Brownpaw saw it all happen, it was a disaster, but some one had to go back for the last kit and their father did. He came back safe though.
Lilypool sighed, she was in no mood to talk to anyone right now, but maybe she needed a distraction. She looked up, bright eyes looking at her leader. ''Hello. Im alright.. But hunting is bad.. we need food Lightningstar!''. Lilypool was getting desperate her memory still in her mind, but her clan still a priority, food was going, and the clan was getting hungry, what would they do?

Lightningstar sighed sadly. She knows that her clan has very little food. The twolegs have been taking all of their food and supplies. Her cats getting weak from the less food. Staring across the Great Lake, she narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked at the other territories. "We will have to take food from the other clans. Its our only option now." She said sternly as she looked at the other cat. Standing up, she started to walk back to her camp. She needed to tell her entire clan that they are to start to steal some prey from the bordering clans. Food is scare for them and they need their strengths. Since most cats are getting weak from starvation, they are having trouble times getting through their swamp land. She felt the eath under her get mushy from the water near by and knew she was close. As she continued to walk, she could smell her camp up ahead. She slid into the entrance of her camp, looking at the food kill pile with disgust with so little food in it, during the summer.

The she-cat sighed, yes everyone was hungry but where they that desperate they would steal from other clans? Lilypool wasn't sure if it was the right thing but they could not go hungry. She followed her leader now, she wondered if she was going to make an announcement, the clan was very small though. She walked, the grassy land become muddier and muddier and they got to camp, though not full out marshland. She sighed once more and followed Lightningstar. ''Are you making an announcement.''
Lilypool sat down and wondered what would be the leader's next step, she dint say much but if you wanted to take food well that will be sneaky and you would need a plan. That would be hard, Lilypool has no idea how her leader is gonna pull that off with out getting their scents. Oh right mud, it can take away anythings sent. well pretty much. She looked around, nervous, where was her family?
