She sat in the tree calmly, thinking about her life. Her life had been dedicated to her clan. She had been born into MarshClan, she'd had her warrior training in MarshClan, and she'd received her name in MarshClan. She honestly couldn't think of a place she would rather be. Her beautiful blue eyes traveled upward, to take in the full moon that sat in the dark black sky. It was late, but sleep would not come to the she-cat. Worry consumed her being, but she could not figure out what she was worried for. A small sigh escaped her parted lips and she jumped down from the tree, landing gracefully on the ground. The night was warm, and beautiful. She loved summer, it was her favorite season. The soft grass under her paws caused her to purr a little. She reached the edge of the lake, and leaned down to lap up some of the water. The frogs were chirping loudly, and it caused her stomach to growl a bit. Since she had been a small kit, frogs had always been her favorite meal. She was an expert at hunting them, and could catch them almost every time. Her ears twitched atop her head as the sound of another cat approaching filled them. She turned her head to look. 217 words, muse meh, thread complete and open.

His paws barly touched the surface of the ground as Foxpaw ran through the forest. Mud splattered everywhere as his paws hit the ground, onto his creamy pelt, onto the faces of the trees and onto every leaf on the bushes. But Foxpaw didn't care. He was free. Free to explore the Forest for the first time.
He slowed down as he came to an open area with trees around it. Panting, he smiled. He did it. He had manged to sneak past the warriors on watch and get out of camp to explore! Foxpaw had been iching all day just to get out to see the forest for the first time. His mentor kept telling him to 'wait' a little longer until he was ready to see it. First learn how to care for the Elders. Pfff, Elders, they were for other apprentices to do and Foxpaw didn't see why he should have to do it all just because the Elders couldn't clean their beds themselves.
Taking a deep breath he looked up to the starry sky, taking it all in. Then looking back he started charging towards a tree but then stopped as he spotted Lillystream. He was now going to be in huge trouble. He was going to get caught and he knew it.

The scent of her apprentice hit her like a bag of bricks. Anger welled up in her stomach as she heard him run into the clearing where she sat. Recently, Lilystream had been a lot more irritable. She'd taken the loss of her mate hard, and she was still having trouble getting over it. She never showed her weakness to her ClanMates, because she knew that as deputy, the cats looked up to her. But everyone could tell that she had changed. It had only been around four months since he disappeared, and she knew it was getting close to time for her to just get over it. She had loved Flamepelt dearly, though, and she was having a lot of trouble. She wheeled around to look at her apprentice, her blue eyes narrowed. Her apprentice actually looked a lot like her, though she wasn't his mother. She was the mother of three beautiful kits, who were growing up fast. In a couple of months they would get mentors of their own. Foxpaw, of course, wasn't the first cat that she had mentored. He was the third, and she knew that young cats often disobeyed their mentors. She took a deep breath and blew it out through her nose to calm herself. "Foxpaw," she started, her voice sounding a bit tried, "I told you not to leave the camp. Do you understand the dangers out here, especially since you have never been out here before?" She ran a paw over her face. "I'm just glad you ran into me. Tomorrow you will help with the elders until sunhigh, then I'll take you out and give you a hunting lesson." She smiled softly at the head strong apprentice. She moved forward and pressed her nose to his. "Would you like me to take you somewhere before we go back to camp?" She knew that she should be punishing him more, but he'd caught her in a giving mood. 325 words, muse okay, thread complete and open.

Foxpaw crouched at his mentor's narrowed blue eyes. She looked so mad at him that it made the little apprentice wish he never went out. "Foxpaw," she started, her voice sounding a bit tried, "I told you not to leave the camp. Do you understand the dangers out here, especially since you have never been out here before?" He dipped his head in shame as he meowed, 'I'm sor-sorry.' He felt really bad, but what could he say? He couldn't go back he time and stop himself nor pray that he was spotted. He was caught and now he was going to have to wait ages to become a warrior just like his apprentice ship! Foxpaw and his sister waited half a moon for it and now it was here, he was meant to clean the Elder's bedding!
"I'm just glad you ran into me. Tomorrow you will help with the elders until sunhigh, then I'll take you out and give you a hunting lesson." She meowed with a soft smile. Foxpaw's heart drooped at caring for the Elders again. It seemed so unfair to him! But the thought of hunting lifted it back up. 'Thanks." he meowed.
Lilystream then came forward and pressed her nose against his and her sweet, honey scent warmed him. "Would you like me to take you somewhere before we go back to camp." Foxpaw looked up at her with a huge grin. He was going to see the forest? 'Oh, please Lilystream!' he meowed looking hopeful at her. .
