Description:

Berrykit was born into this world looking as if she was the sickest little kit in the world. Which probably isn't far from the truth. This little kit has a very pale blue tortoiseshell pelt, looking sickly. She has patches of white on her chest and on her face. All of her paws are white with a few patches of ginger halfway up her legs. This kit would be a very beautiful little kit if she didn't look so sickly the majority of the time.

During the times she is sick her ribs show more and more, looking as if she is just skin and bones. Berrykit has a little more 'meat' on her bones when she is well and is able to eat more food. She still is a very tiny little kit, who probably won't grow to her full potential, just because of her sickness. If she ever makes it to becoming an apprentice, she will still be small, and still have her sickly issues, and her pelt will still look very pale. To match her pale fur, Berrykit has dull green eyes that look as if they are as sickly as her pelt, which is entirely possible given her condition.

Personality:

Berrykit has two personalities, her sick personality, and her well personality. Let us begin with the main personality, the personality everyone knows her best by.

This little kit while she is sick is probably the sweetest kit you will ever encounter. She barely makes a noise, keeping as close to her mother as possible. It is always apparent when this kit is sick, even if her fur always does look sickly. Berrykit will become very mellow and calm, not wanting to do anything but lay around and be anti-social. She pretty much will keep away from anyone other than her family at this point. When she is sick it is very hard to get this kit to eat, it is a task all in itself. Berrykit is just so misreable and frail looking at this time, and struggles with doing anything and everything. Simple tasks, such as standing or even sitting, are hard for her at this point. The little kit will become so weak and each time she is sick it looks like it will be her last day, her fur will become even paler (if that is possible). It is never known if she will make it through the next minute, or live for a few days. She surprises everyone just by living to her first moon. It may be heartbreaking to see her like this, but she tries to reassure everyone she is fine. That's her attitude through all of this, she is fine and that no one needs to worry about her.

Now those few days every moon or so that she isn't sick, this kit is a very social and loveable little thing. Berrykit may be frail, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to be a normal little kit who wants to do everything her siblings and friends do. She still keeps her sweet nature that she has when she is sick but will venture out with her friends and siblings. During this time her fur will brighten up a little and she actually looks like a somewhat normal kit. She puts all the energy she can into playing, and is spent by the end of the day. Berrykit will also eat while she is well, maybe not as much as she should, but no one has to force her to do anything.

Berrykit is one of those kits that is hard to get angry with. She is just so innocent and frail, how could anyone get upset with a little kit that struggles so much and then tries to be normal? Her sick personality is obviously her dominant personality, she is sick the majority of the time and only well enough to play maybe a few days out of a moon. It is just hard for her to shake any sickness that might creep around. If someone visits and has a cold, or if her siblings catch a cold, there is no doubt that Berrykit will become sick aswell, but any cold or sickness will last twice as long with her.

Her only dream in life is to be normal, like any other kit. She wishes every day that she wasn't sick all the time. Berrykit will watch other kits play and long to be able to do that more, but her body will just not allow her to. It saddens her when she sees her siblings playing and laughing and she wonders why she was the one of the litter to be like this, not that she would wish this on anyone else, but she just wonders what it would be like if she wasn't sick all the time.

Berrykit's biggest hero is her father. She is a daddy's girl through and through. Her daddy is her idol, anything he says is right. She usually will only want him when she is sick and will call out for him, wanting nothing more than to have him by her side. If Berrykit can't be around her father, then the next obvious choice to who she comes to is her mother. Berrykit can be found around her mother when she is well. During those few days, Berrykit loves to spend time with her mother aswell as her siblings.

History:

Berrykit was born to two loving parents, Speckledpool and -insertname-. She was born the youngest kit of her litter, and by far the smallest. It was her parents second litter, and although they had had kits before, no one expected to have one like Berrykit. How could they?

Berrykit, when first born was thought to be stillborn, but after some stimulation, well much stimulation, she finally came to life. She wasn't as eager to feed as her siblings, and from the start Berrykit was different, she was not normal.

Sickness has engulfed this kit almost every day of her life. At one moon, Berrykit had been sick more days than she had been well. How had she survived to this point? It was a miracle, nothing short of.

To this day she still is sick way too much, but she tries to put on a brave face. Lately all she seems to be able to do is watch her siblings have fun without her. She barely can even stand on her own paws.
