This is a world I created about 5 years ago and have slowly begun to peice together into a role-play forum. Maps of the continent are still under construction but the site it open for people to join and start Role-playing.
The forum is rated mature, don't join if you're uncomfortable around that stuff.
There is no stick-to-it plot, but there are certain rules and things that need to be understood before starting a topic. It's basically a free roleplay where you can do what you want and start what you want as long as it's not overly dramitic (thats reserved for me > )
I really want this forum to become a nice forum to join, I don't want it to sink away like others. I'm online just about everyday, not till later in the day though on weekdays due to school.
Join us, I'm sure you'll have fun. I don't bite, I promise.
A little info:
When the world started, the gods of the heavens made six families to develope each island: The Dragomires of Valituer, Pheonuxs of the Islands of Alter, Serpients of Alquer, Roedors of Talenquine, Cabalians of Duer, and the Demians of Death's Island. Each was ordered to protect their own island, care for it, help it florish with life and humanity. Each family represented a species of animal designed for that certain place. Dragomires were the dragons that ruled the land and skies of Valituer. The Pheonuxs, with their magics, where those of the pheonix and other species of magic birds of the Islands of Alter. Serpeints of Alquer were snakes, large and small alike. Roedors, or the rodents of Talenquine ruled the grasslands. Cabalians of Duer where ungulates, specifically horses, capable of moving fast across the plains. Finaly, the Demain demons of Death's Island, first designed as powerful beings to help, soon became corrupt.
All of these families played a part in the first war of the Kingdom. The Demain family and their army attacked the dragons, who sought the aid of the Pheonuxs who in turn asked for their help against the Serpients who had almost wiped out their friends, the Roedors. The Cabalians, as peaceful as they were, kept themselves out of the war for a great deal of time. The dragons relied on their magic powers to protect themselves, but at the time did not know they got those powers from the world around them. The battle took place in what is now known as the Scorched Lands. Fires destroyed the life there, while the energy taken from the fighting families took away the energy from the earth leaving the place bone-dry and stripped of all life. The Demain forces lost, almost wiped out. They retreated to their home island, and there they stayed for hundreds of years. The dragons, with no energy to live from, slowly began to age and die off from the huge amounts of energy they took from the land, it had punished them severily.
The Roedors, gone. The Serpients murdered until only the more powerful one's remained, they returned, and buried themselves deep within the ground of Alquer where they rested for years. The ungulates of the plains survived... for awhile. Due to the flatness of their lands, as the sea rose, their land began to sink. Most of the Cabalians lived close to the fresh water sea, so their race easily became extinct come the first mighty wave.
Though some generations of these six families survived, they are not as powerful as they once were. They blend easily into the mortal society now, and are only noticable if one knows what to look for.
